SUN LUTANG

    • Compassion

Vast subject that is Compassion, if we agree in saying that it should embrace all beings ... Although
we sometimes label the Taoist hermit as a solitary living in his cave, he cares for himself, but also
for all beings, encompassed in the Tao like himself. Although the concept is less present, however,
than in Buddhism, especially in that of the Greater Vehicle (Mahayana), it nevertheless remains one
of the nine pillars of the Way of Tao. We will try to enumerate some examples, such as Lü Dong
Bin, the Very-High of the Stork Peaks, to substantiate these statements.
